About this bottle
Michter's US★1 Toasted Barrel Finish Rye starts with fully matured Kentucky straight rye at barrel strength, then finishes it in a second barrel of air-dried wood that is toasted rather than charred. It's a limited release around 109 proof; expect toffee, black walnut, cherry and gingerbread with pronounced rye spice and rounded oak.
